Mid-Century Modern House Kit - The Northridge

$69.99
The Flatville Northridge is built with an MDF frame and chipboard trim and roofing. This slimmed down version is meant to save space, but also provides a unique look. For a first-time builder, this is a good option, though the kit has a very polished look to it once assembled. The rear wall is partially open for easy access to the interior.

Its overall dimensions are 15.5" wide x 2" deep x 5" tall.

The brickwork is cut in sheets and is easily assembled. This isn't a cheap kit you will knock out in an afternoon. Plan to set aside some time to do this one right.

Like all of my kits, this is laser cut from 3mm MDF, with roofing and trim cut from thin chipboard. The Northridge has a surprising amount of detail considering the scale.

The kit comes with 15 figures in various stages of action. These figures are small, and are not recommended for any child under the age of three (3) due to a potential choking hazard. Also included is a small collection of tools–glue bottle, tweezers, sandpaper, small paintbrush, and a glue clean-up tool.

I spent quite a bit of time designing and refining the Northridge, both the kit and the accompanying printed assembly manual (a digital version of the manual is available if you like). I am very pleased with the results, and I think you will be too.

I'll even throw in a few of the characters pictured in the photos.

Stay tuned for more buildings in the Flatville Collection.
