50s Gas Station Kit - Premium Gas & Oil
$69.99
Premium Gas & Oil is built with an MDF frame and chipboard roof material. This slimmed down version is meant to save space, but also provides a unique look. For a first-time builder, this is a good option, though the kit has a very polished look to it once assembled. The rear of the building is open so you have easy access to the interior.
Its overall dimensions are 10.75" wide x 2.375" deep x 5.75" tall.
Like all of my kits, this is laser cut from 3mm MDF, with roofing cut from thin chipboard. This is not a difficult build, but it does require some time and patience.
The kit comes with 14 figures in various stages of action, four of which are cut short so they fit in the station wagon that is also part of the kit. These figures are small, and are not recommended for any child under the age of three (3) due to a potential choking hazard. Also included is a small collection of tools–glue bottle, tweezers, sandpaper, small paintbrush, and a glue clean-up tool.
I have spent quite a bit of time designing and refining Premium Gas & Oil, both the kit and the accompanying printed installation manual (a digital version of the manual is available upon request). I am very pleased with the results, and I think you will be too.
Stay tuned for more buildings in the Flatville Collection.
